Okonomiyaky - Vegetable

((25min)) - [4] / Dashi 250ml, 2 Large eggs, Flour 100 g, Salt TT, Baking powder 2 g, Baking soda 1.5g, Vegetables (cabbage, etc.) 500g, okonomiyaki sauce, Kewpie mayo, Katsuobushi, shredded nori.

 

Ingredients

 

Dashi 250ml (if using instant dashi measure 1 teaspoon/cup of water)

Large eggs 2

Flour 100 g

Salt TT

Baking powder 2 g

Baking soda 1.5g

Vegetables (cabbage, etc.) 500g

okonomiyaki sauce

Kewpie mayo

Katsuobushi

shredded nori

Vegetable oil 2-3 Tablespoons

 

Method

 

(1) In a bowl, Beat Dashi, eggs, flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda to a smooth consistency.

(2) Cut the vegetables in julienne, grate vegetables like carrots on the large holes of a box grater.

(3) Add oil to a large non-stick skillet on a lively heat.

(4) Mix the vegetables and the egg mixture thoroughly.

(5) Add all the content of the bowl in the skillet and cook until the bottom is slightly crispy 3-5 minutes.

(6) Flip the Okonomiyaki and cook until somewhat crispy 3-5 minutes.

(7) Slide the Okonomiyaki onto a platter, use okonomiyaki sauce, and mayo to dress it in a pattern of your choice.

(8) Garnish with Katsuobushi and the nori.

(9) Serve at once.
